Laugh For Less: Bill Bellamy & Friends Of 'Who Got Jokes?' Present Comedic Stimulus Package With 'Live In Atlanta'

(HipHopPress) March 5, 2009 – "Live In Atlanta," a comedy show produced by Theatrical Works featuring Bill Bellamy and friends of TV One's Who's Got Jokes?, has announced the availability of specialty tickets for $20. A diverse line-up of talent will hit the stage on Saturday, March 21, at the Atlanta Civic Center ( 395 Piedmont Ave NE , Atlanta ) including Bellamy, Ron G, Lil Rell, Lav Luv and Rodney Perry. Scheduled to host is V-103's morning show co-host Wanda Smith. Currently, Bill's the host of TV One's Who's Got Jokes?, a one-hour stand-up comedy competition that features up-and-coming comedians from all around the country. Bellamy, who hosted the first taped episode of Who's Got Jokes in Atlanta , is excited to bring back a few of the show's alum to Georgia.

Entertainment heavyweight, Bill Bellamy has conquered film and television while never straying too far from his innate talent, comedy. After making his national television debut on Showtime at the Apollo, Bellamy appeared on HBO's Def Comedy Jam and hosted MTV Jamz for five years. Bellamy's career matriculated to film with roles in Getting Played, The Brothers, Love Jones, and Any Given Sunday.

Theatrical Works is an independently owned production and promotions firm that was formed in 2006 by President/CEO Travis Steele. Steele has worked alongside reputable promoters like Live Nation and on arena concert tours that featured artists R. Kelly, Keisha Cole, Ne-Yo and Lil Wayne.
