Dorinda Clark-Cole’s Protege 1st Atlanta Performance Set for June at The Omni CNN Center.

Benita A. Rudolph(Press Release) - One of the stars of the hit Tony Award Nominated stage play “My Grandmother Prayed for Me, Benita A. Rudolph will introduce herself to the Atlanta Gospel Community during a promotional tour slated for June 17-June 20, 2010. She will make a broadcast radio appearance, perform on two broadcast televised shows and a special live performance at the 2010Faith and Fiction Retreat Gala Banquet at the Omni at CNN Center.

While here she will present her national single release “Let Go.” Her debut single “One Step” is in heavy rotation in Little Rock, Dallas, Detroit, and Chicago as well as in European markets. The video for “One Step” can be seen on The Word Network’s Video Gospel as well as the Gospel Music Channel.

Ms. Rudolph is a protégé of Gospel Great Dorinda Clark Cole. Cole’s Music Director Joe Smith and musician for the Clark Sisters worked on the production of this urban inspirational hit.

• Thursday 2pm EST on WaTC TV [Atlanta Live] Taped Performance

About Benita A. Rudolph:

Under the guidance of her friend and mentor, gospel great Dorinda Clark Cole, Ms. Rudolph is making a major splash on the gospel music scene. Rudolph has shared stages with gospel greats Hezekiah Walker, Dr. Vernard Johnson, the Virginia Mass Choir and the Detroit Mass Choir. She was named the 2005 Arkansas Performing Arts Superior Vocalist of the Year; the 2004 TCAA/BCN New Artist of the Year; and made an appearance on the Word Network’s “Bobby Jones Gospel Show.” In addition to these honors, she most recently opened concerts for Grammy and Stellar Award-winning artist Helen Baylor, Vickie Winans, Michael and Regina Winans, and the sensational Lisa McClendon. Rudolph has also been featured in New York’s 2006 Gospel Superfest Showcase.
