Bounce TV (www.bouncetv.com), the fastest growing African American network in television, will premiere the second season of its original comedy series Uptown Comic this fall with actor and comedian Rodney Perry (Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family, Mo'Nique Show) as host, it was announced today by Bounce TV Chief Operating Officer Jonathan Katz.
Uptown Comic is a half-hour series featuring stand-up performances by some of the hottest up-and-coming comics in the country. The show's second season will begin production in Atlanta this month.
