EDward Long announces the beginning of Empower ATLanta; a movement to create an environment to educate, edify and empower Hipsters, Generation X, Millennial’s & Generation Y.
“Our aim is to reach and minister to those who feel displaced in the metro Atlanta area,” says founder EDward Long. “There is a void of the teaching and understanding of the History of God, Kingdom principles and how they tie into pop culture. Those are the ones who need to hear the word of God in a different way.”
Monthly services will take place at Beulah Heights University, located at 892 Berne St, S.E. on the first Sunday each month. Empower ATLanta’s inaugural service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday, February 4, 2018. “This is not a church, this is a ministry,” Long says. “Empower ATLanta is here for those who may feel displaced and without a home. We know what that feels like.”
In addition to the monthly services, Empower ATLanta will share the love of Christ by providing a unique worship experience through teachings, events, discipleship groups and community service.
“We have the opportunity to love on and care for these souls and point them to the hope that can only be found in Christ,” Long says.
Empower ATLanta is looking forward to the challenges this step of faith will bring; knowing the rewards will be in in spiritual growth. It is the opportunity to serve others for our Lord Jesus Christ that really excites us and offers us the greatest joy.
