The Exhibit Gray Tour series made its stop in Atlanta on Saturday, November 11th. Curated by best-selling authors Enitan Bereola II and Steve Canal, the tour is a 6-city series that celebrates Canal’s The Mind of a Winner and Bereola’s The Gray: A Relationship Etiquette Study. Atlanta influencers were invited out to Opium nightclub to partake in this leg of the tour.

The gentlemen were joined by Ariane Davis of VH1‘s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta and entrepreneur Grace Lee, owner of Cru Urban Lounge. These four influencers led multiple rounds of candid discussions centered around culture and society’s “gray” areas.

Guests were able to not only enjoy an eclectic mix of conversations but also art exhibitions featuring Parsons, Chris Hobe, and a live musical journey. Daniel Dickey and Grammy Award-winning Kenneth Whalum III gave amazing performances with their exceptional vocal abilities, while sounds were provided by DJ Jamad. All attendees were prived to specialty cocktails courtesy of Martell cognac.

Steve Canal expressed that the goal of his book is to share with the world a type of methodology that will help people achieve their highest goals. In his opinion, everything starts with self, so people should first start with a self-evaluation of their strengths and weaknesses. More importantly, they must have an understanding of what they should incorporate into their lives to help them grow.

A couple of other points that Canal made pertained to time management and prioritization. He stresses the importance of not wasting your time or anyone else’s. Think about how you choose to spend your 24 hours and 365 days. It helps to also know your priorities and how they rank. The time allocated toward a particular priority should correlate with its importance in a person’s life.

He leaves off with the advice that it’s almost impossible to do anything by yourself. It’s necessary to have mentors, advisors, guides, or just people in general that can help you along the journey. All of this is just droplet of knowledge that The Mind of a Winner possesses.
