Jesse Jackson Jr. Diagnosed With Bipolar Disorder

U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-IL) is being treated for bipolar disorder, according to a statement issued by the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

“Following extensive evaluation, Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. is undergoing treatment for Bipolar II depression,” Mayo Clinic spokeswoman Traci Klein said in an email on Monday.

Michael Clarke Duncan Suffers Cardiac Arrest

Michael Clarke Duncan, the actor best known for his Oscar-nominated role alongside Tom Hanks in The Green Mile, was rushed to an L.A. hospital after reportedly suffering from cardiac arrest earlier today. The star is currently in intensive care.

“According to doctors, Michael Clarke Duncan’s became non-responsive early this morning,” the 54-year-old star’s publicist told E! News. “He is now stable and we look forward to his full recovery.”
